Overview

GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide first isolated from human plasma, extensively studied in dermal research for its role in tissue remodeling, collagen synthesis signaling, and wound-repair pathways.

Mechanism & Research Findings

GHK-Cu chelates copper and delivers it to tissue sites, where it is studied for activating matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) involved in remodeling damaged extracellular matrix, while simultaneously upregulating collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis.
